Blind dates do work!

Well its been a while since I've updated this, but as of April 24, I'm engaged! I couldn't be happier! Brent Michael Jessop is the best thing that has happened to me! We met on a blind date on Feb. 20, and the rest is history! We are getting married on September 18 in the Bountiful Temple with a reception in his parents backyard in Murray. Plans are going splendid! I'm so lucky for amazing friends, family and fiance who have all pitched in and have helped! I'm so excited to spend the rest of my life and eternity with Brent! I love him with all my heart!

The Old, and Bringing in the New...

Well its been a little while since I've gotten on here last.. Lets see.. Here's an update:

  • I was working at Sandcastle Academy, but sadly it closed. I miss it terribly.

  • Our car died last May, and we've had to rely on others and public transportation to get around..

  • More and more of my friends are getting married, like its the new thing to do.

  • I've taken up country dancing, and I LOVE it. Its a great way to meet new people and stay active.

  • Job hunting stinks.

  • I finally joined an awesome singles ward.

  • My nephews and niece are growing so fast! Brigham will be 8 this year, Kaiden will be 6, Issac will be three in a few weeks, Aiden will be four, and Ashlyn is walking and talking as she approaches 2 years old this year.

  • I've kept active by playing frisbee in the summer, flag football in the fall and volleyball all year roung.

  • Just trying to stay busy and having fun while I'm at it!

This year is going to be a good one, I can just tell. Its already been full of surprises and changes. I'll be 23 in less than two months, and my 5 year high school reunion is this summer. Its crazy how fast life is going. Sometimes you just wish you could hit the pause button and enjoy everything before the play button gets pressed again. But thats life! You just live each day and hope for the best. I've learned alot and had good and bad experiences. But I wouldn't change it, or whats happened.
